The Research On The LCC Optimization Model Of Family Car

ABSTRACT:Resource saving and friendly environment have become the direction of social development. The constraint of resources and environment together determine that the cost control of the manufacturing enterprises is not only limited to the creation of products, but should focus on product life cycle process. The product design stage decided to more than70%of the product life cycle cost, Thus it can be seen the accurate evaluation and effective control of product life cycle cost are of vital importance in the product design stage. To be able to provide car designers a design decision-making basis which can reduce car life cycle cost, and make it possible to be able to buy it and afford it as well, this article mainly research the whole life cycle cost estimation and optimization control of a family car.Considering the present estimation methods need large amount of data, and LCC application in manufacturing enterprises in China at an early stage is difficult to provide a large amount of data, selecting Partial Least Squares regression to estimate the life cycle cost of a car are required. By estimating can only get the mapping relationship between design parameters and cost, and there is a big correlation among parameters, thus it cannot intuitive provide decision basis for the designer intuitively. Therewith the customer demand, enterprise technical feasibility, budget and profitability for the enterprise are needed to set up an optimization space, based on Nonlinear Mathematical Programming of the life cycle cost optimization model of a car. The solution of the optimization model, not only can be meet the conditions of minimum LCC, but also can get the optimal parameter combination, which can provide the designer with decision-making basis considering the whole life cycle of a car in design stage. After systematic theoretical discussions and model building, this article, taking the Volkswagen sedan as an example.
