Research Of Transportation Infrastructure Modernization In Gansu Province

Transportation is not only one of the most important basic industry of national economy,but also the lifeblood of the modern social and economic development. It provides us all thebasic elements of industrial production. It plays an irreplaceable role in the development ofthe whole national economy. And transportation infrastructure is the basic premise of thetransportation.With the development of economy and the progress of the society, traffic will be moreand more highly demanded, traffic infrastructure modernization is an inevitable trend in thefuture the development of transport infrastructure.On the basis of Traffic infrastructure modernization definition and its characteristics, thisstudy established the traffic infrastructure system modernization evaluation index system, thesystem consists of3aspects, that is sustainability, investment in science and technology, usingSPSS and EXCEL, with the method of principal component analysis, explored themodernization of traffic infrastructure in Gansu province,finaly we compare the results withselected provinces and cities by benchmarking to find the obstacles. According to theresults,transport reform measures are put forward. This research contriute to the developmentGansu transport infrastructure modernization development. And improved the transportationinfrastructure layout.In general, the paper can be summarized as three parts, the first part and the second is thetheoretical part, the third and fourth, fith parts serve as the main body of the paper, the finalchapter for policy suggestions. This paper is divided into six sections based on the contents:This paper is organized as follows. Section1introduced the research background and thesignificance of this paper; then the framework is discussed. Section2chapter reviewedrelevant literatures, summarized related theories and defined the level and scope of research.Section3introduces the traffic infrastructure modernization evaluation index system, andselected the12indicators on this basis. Section4is the core part of the study, according to theestablished evaluation system, this chapter summarizes the insufficients of Gansu provincetransport infrastructure modernization with the method of Principal componentanalysis.section5put forward corresponding Suggestions. The last section is conclusion.
