A Study On The Operational Capacity Of Auto4S Shops In China

It is changing rapidly in China in recent years and with the development, more and more people are willing to travel more conveniently, so the Auto industry is as well as growing. Recently, for the sake of meet customers’need, raise own competiveness and provide better selling experiences and after services, automobile manufacturers have decided to improve their4S shops. How to get advantages, improve general operational capacity, operate reasonably and response quickly to the changing environment and policy, it is a lesson that all auto4S shops in China have to learn, especially more and more strict policies have been carried out.Based on the grounded theory, this paper first recognizes the main factors of general operational capacity of auto4S shops, and then builds a related system, including four first class factors and twenty-three second class factors. The four first class factors are Support, Management, Efficiency and Performance. By visiting and researching twenty-three auto4S shops in Beijing, Hubei, Anhui and Jiangxi, the second step is to use Analytic Hierarchy Process method to analyze and distribute the weight of the twenty-three factors and rank them. The third step is that the paper uses Interpretive structural model to calculate the first10factors and find out that affect the operational capacity most is factor management system and maintenance profit margins. Finally, the paper gives advices to how to improve operational capacity of auto4S shops.The goals of this research generally considered what contribute in the auto industry chain of auto4S shops and how the polices affect them. It helps to improve and better the operational strategy and method of auto4S shops, and building their own core competitiveness.
