With the development of globalization, enterprises are faced with more and moreintense competition, therefore, improving productivity and reducing cost has becomesignificant means to maintain leading position in the market. However, the shortageand scarcity of resources increases the cost to obtain production resources. The boostof domestic economic level improves people’s living standards while simultaneouslyraising the labor cost. The issue of how to scientifically and effectively optimize theresources configuration, especially the man-machine ratio problem, has been one ofthe keys to improve productivity and reduce cost.As for the resources configuration optimization within enterprises, this paperputs forward the resources configuration optimization model based on lean productionto optimize man-machine ratio. The paper conducts the following research:First of all, through in-depth analysis of related theory and application of leanproduction and resources allocation optimization, present the idea of combine both toimprove productivity and reduce production cost.Secondly, using the multi-objective programming and queuing theory establishthe resources configuration optimization model based on lean production, maximizethe utilization rate of equipment and personnel as the optimization goal, and furtherconvert the goal to minimize the equipment waiting time and personnel free time.Finally, establish the eM-plant simulation model combining with A company’sactual production, apply the simulation results to solve and verify the resourcesconfiguration optimization model based on optimization and get the bestman-machine ratio. The results show that the resources configuration optimizationmodel can effectively solve the optimization of man-machine ratio and effectivelyreduce production cost while guaranteeing productivity.
