At the background of economic globalization and appreciation of RMB, Ourcountry’s commercial banks were influenced deeply, the innovation for theexchange rate of the RMB brought many chance as well as challenges. The loanbusinesses of the global combination, consumer loans were increased stably andpositively. But the appreciation of RMB had some passive influence for manyfirms, specially the bank which paid very attention to the international tradefinance. Packing loan, export bills were easily pushed commercial bank into risk.This paper wants to research the suggestion for the commercial bank t o deal withthese problems.The main body of this paper is dividend to four sections. The first section ofthis paper is the background and sense, the recent researching of related theories,researching content and method, technology roadmap. The second section willexplain the exchange rate policy theory, theory of international lending, andinternational trade finance. The third section will analyze the function and sense,and recent situation of the international trade finance, which includes domesticand abroad. The fourth section will discuss the tactics used in the businesses inthe international trade finance at the background of appreciation of RMB.Besides the problem, this paper issues some tactics according to the problemsand the actual situation of Jiao tong bank. Compare with other domesticcommercial banks, bank of communication has the advantages of larger scale,stronger, overall, this bank has a strong competence. However, there are stillexist competence among the domestic commercial banks, some commercialbanks that have a less scale and competence are good at analyzing the marketinformation, as well as innovating. So they have a good market efficiency andmarket share. What is more, there is also an other competence from the foreignbank, which has strong competence in the every fact. Bank of communicationshould improve the organizational structure and management, promote itstechnology and innovative service level, strengthen the intensity of riskmanagement, and improve the quality of staff. Then bank of communication would earn more in the international trade finance business at the background ofappreciation of RMB.
