It’s very difficult to do the business on the semi-product due youhave to exactly follow the rules from the customer such as Lam Researchwho setup the spec for the product which is very critical on therequirement on the purity of the product. That’s why quality managementis the key to lead to the success or failure of the project and should bethroughout whole project. So it is of great significance for enterprises tosetup a reasonable quality control idea in such projects these days.This thesis mainly studies on the quality management of high purityproduct globalization project in USA company. It’s base on the methodsand tools of project quality control theory and quality characteristic of theproduct.First of all it’s important to do the plan on quality control in thebeginning of the whole project by using tool of PFMEA to in-depthanalysis the potential failure mode of quality and effects on productsduring different stages of project. List and analysis all the risks during thewhole project then make the action to remove or reduce the potential failure.Then the thesis introduces the concept of quality fluctuation duringthe product manufacturing process. Set the high purity spec as the clueand purpose of the project for the quality control management. Use themethods and tools of quality control during the different stages of theproject through construction, facility startup, process building, test to finalpackage and delivery. Fish-bone graph analysis method is used base onenvironment, equipments, materials, process, operating personnel to meetthe high standard requirements on cleanliness. Does the continousimprovement on the process quality control by PDCA method so as toensure that the final product meets the POR spec of the USA LamResearch standards which is the Key number of Semiconductor IndustryAssociation.At last,6simga DMAIC method is used to fix the remaining criticalproblem: Pareto diagram method is used to figure out the countermeasurefrom summarized different failure causes, the statistical samplingtechnique with uniform test methods is used to get the best solution whichwill be verified by the actual result of the project. It’s a kind of creativeresearch on the continous improvement in the field of quality controlmanagement which can be referenced by the enterprises who focus onquality management in high-tech project. This article also provides a realexample on the usage of methods and tools of quality control management in field of semiconductor manufacturing, meanwhile it plays an importantsignificance on the quality improvment in the company.
