Research On Application Of FMEA In Quality Management Of K Company

With economic globalization and information revolution developing,competition is increasingly fierce.Nowadays,people will pursue and rely more and more on high-quality products and services How to further improve product quality has become the core issue of enterprise development strategy.It is not only related to the improvement of product quality,but also to the survival and development of enterprises.FMEA is an analysis tool focusing on failure,which can be used to find potential defects in all aspects of product in time,so as to put forward targeted improvement plans as soon as possible,so as to avoid the occurrence of failure or reduce the impact of failure.The improvement of product quality is as follows: It plays an important role,so it is of great significance to study the application of FMEA in quality management.K company is a manufacturer of electronic products.Its products mainly include solid-state hard disk series,memory series,SDHC high-capacity memory card and other data storage products.With the continuous development and expansion of the company,the product category of the company is gradually increasing,and the product life cycle is gradually shortened by frequent product updates,resulting in increasingly prominent problems in quality management.This paper takes this as an entry point.In this paper,the application of FMEA in quality management of K company is studied by using the methods of literature research,field investigation and case study.By analyzing the application of FMEA in K company's quality management,this paper finds that the implementation of FMEA in K company's quality management project has the functions of promoting the cooperation of relevant departments in quality improvement,preventing failure in advance,improving product quality,reducing rework rate and scrap rate,etc.At the same time,it also found that there were problems in the implementation process and results application of FMEA: 1)lack of systematic training for FMEA team members;2)lack of reference to FMEA analysis of similar failure modes in the failure mode analysis stage;3)lack of summary of the whole quality improvement project;4)lack of effective promotion channels for FMEA analysis data;5)K company did not feed back the analysis results of process FMEA to relevant product design departments.Through the analysis of the causes of the problems,this paper puts forward the optimization scheme of implementing FMEA in the quality management project of K Company from several aspects,such as improving the training system of K company,improving the project process management and project summary,establishing the FMEA information database,deeply promoting and applying the FMEA analysis results,and at the same time gives the guarantee measures for the implementation of the optimization scheme.The research results of this paper can be used for reference in the analysis of similar potential risks of electronic product manufacturing enterprises.
