As the growth of the FA (Factory Automation) industry, FA equipment manufacturingenterprises are basically multi-project parallel management model, especially the level ofproject management do a direct impact on the profitability of the enterprise. The core ofmulti-project management is how to allocate the various resources, including funds, personnel, equipments etc. The difficulty and complexity of this management is generallyharder than the single-project management. As market competition intensifies, a lot of FAequipment manufacturing enterprises operate on multiple projects, some problems havebeen raised, resource conflicts, low resource utilization, project delay and deficits due toresource interactions. In such situation, this thesis is focus on FA enterprise multi-projectissues that will help companies reduce operating costs and improve competitiveness.Based on the practical situations of automotive industry in the FA equipmentmanufacturing enterprises, this article will make research on resource allocationmanagement in multi-project environment, and raise feasible methods and tools onresource allocation in FA enterprise projects. The main contents are as follows:1) Combining with SPSFA equipment manufacturing enterprise resource status, analysis of resource allocation conflicts, and a clear purpose on resource optimization inmulti-project management.2) Raising resource allocation framework and method for FA equipmentmanufacturing projects with time, tasks, resources, based on analysis of SPSFA resourcesupply and constraints, combined with WBS in FA equipment manufacturing projects. Andapplication on the actual project cases.3) For the resource conflicts appear in resource allocation framework and method forspecific projects, this article discusses two allocation methods, based on optimization rulesand based on priority. And application on the actual project cases.
