Research On Compliance Management In Bureau Veritas (BV) Group

GSK （China）incident was a bribery of pharmaceutical industry in July2013.GSK used improper means to disturb the competitive environment,which led torising prices of the pharmaceutical. Some suspicious executives of GSK werearrested for investigation of their serious economic and bribery crimes. More detailswhich were identified through investigation for the bribery incident were graduallyclear. From this example, we can find that BV group who is a famous third-partycompany in the world based on their visibility and credibility and also amultinational group who focued on the social responsibility. If the bribery incidentsuch as GSK is happened in BV group, which should bring tremendous negativeimpact to it.More important is that which should disturb the credibility of the thirdparty company. So, how to strengthen compliance management to against thecommercial bribery, how to pay attention to the compliance management, how toconduct the compliance management in BV group, there are the targets ofcompliance management of BV group. This thesis helps us to understand themeaning and role of compliance managment of this kind company.This thesis was applicated that literature analysis, text reading, comparison, forexample method, a comprehensive analysis method. The main contents as below:1. The principles, concepts and regulations of the compliance management, andgeneral compliance systems terms of multinational corporeation.2. Analysis the situation of BV group’s compliance management and get theproblems of compliance management from it.3. The improvement project of the compliance management of BV group.4. The case share.Through the above research steps, we could prove BV group (including China),including the compliance management redesign for BV; the design principles,procedures and system framework, the evaluation of design results and prospect andthe establishment of BV Group’s core values.
