As the internet technology has been developed at a tremendous speed, people’s life changedincredibly. The internet has infiltrated in almost every field and affects every aspects of people’sdaily life. The revolution of mobile internet technology has not only brought the changed oflifestyle, but has brought the transformation of business mode. Industrial thinking has been themajor thinking of the society since the Industrial Revolution. Concepts in industrial productionlike centralization, standardization, controllable have been methods of social management and therules which control the production of the products. Internet-based platform economy, is arevolution of thoughts, and an evolution of business, it triggered the changes of the mechanism ofproduct’s development and design.Products, as one of the core competitive edges of enterprises, is the engine of the enterprise’sdevelopment. Today, as the boundaries among different industry have been considerably blurred,the competition between enterprises have been changed from monotonous competition into thecompetition of business ecosystem. Under the background of internet-based platform economy,the ways of design and development in the past began to show its deficiency. Internet-basedplatform economy is an opportunity, also a challenge for everyone and every enterprise, in orderto survive in the competition of business ecosystem and get more interests from it, thetransformation of the mode of products’development and the methods of management isespecially important.Based on this background, this thesis will take the changes caused by internet-based platformeconomy in the product development as a breakthrough point, to do the researches on themechanism of the design with the development, and take tea products as a sample, establish theplatform product development design channels of interaction, interaction rules as well as the interaction of ecological advice, product development and design of the mechanism under theeconomic transition theory, on the Internet platform for the design of the product developmentunder the economic framework advice. This thesis has these following aspects:The first part is the introduction part which introduces the background, the main content ofthe thesis, the methods and measures used in the research, the framework and the meaning of theresearch.The second part is the theoretical fundaments of the thesis, the research theories of products’development and internet-based platform economy through the study of various of articles givesthe following parts theoretical support.The third part is the analysis of product development design organization structure, thechange of the role function, the design of product, the development process and order, the changeof process management, coordinate analytic product development design evaluation, the change ofiterative development.The forth part is the body of the thesis, through the analysis of real example and theexploration of measures, the comparative analysis the problems and opportunity of new products’development in internet-based platform economy, the description of the realistic fundament ofnew products’development in internet-based platform economy and build up the system andmechanism structure, the framework advice of development and management.The fifth part is the real sample through the development of tea products which testify theadvice above and realize the research.The last is the conclusion and the expectation, make anticipation of the mechanism ofproduct’s development and design under internet-based platform economy based on the researchand study above.
