| Coal is an important source of energy for national economic development. As a bridgeand link connecting production and consumption, coal logistics plays an important pivotalrole for economic development.“North-to-South coal transfer” and “West-to-East coaltransfer” is the basic coal transform patten. The natural port resources of Caofeidian willprovide an important condition for achieving “North-to-South coal transfer”. From2010to2020, to strengthen the construction of large coal port in Caofeidian will become one of thepriorities in developing coastal coal port in northern China. By2020, the total seaborne coalin Caofeidian will be500million tons, and the total throughput capacity of coal ports couldnot meet the transportation demand.This paper will firstly summarize and analyze the overall situation of coal demand andsupply currently in Caofeidian, By means of induction and deduction to a series ofproblems currently are expounded in this paper, use prediction model, SWOT analysis,uncertainty analysis methods to forecast and analysis Caofeidian Port coal terminal demand,and make a comparative study with the coal terminal throughput. The development strategyof Caofeidian Portcoal logistics should immediately carry out, and construct a new phase ofcoal terminal. This study has important significance for actual operation of the coalterminal. It solves Caofeidian Port coal terminal operation problems, and the problems willmee in the future. |
