The study on key predictors affecting job satisfaction has contributed toorganizational success. To be successful, organization should obtain more satisfiedemployees to work for. To achieve this, management may need to understand what factorstheir employees need to motivate them to work and engage them with the job theyperformance. This paper primarily focused on Cambodian employees’ perception towardtheir organization and they were selected to participate in the study. The main purpose ofthis study was to identify key predictors affecting job satisfaction of private employees inCambodia during the last12months to see whether they were satisfied with their jobs.Four assumed key predictors feedback from supervisor, training, promotion opportunityand interpersonal relation with co-workers were examined. The result indicated thatfeedback from supervisor, training, promotion opportunity and interpersonal relation withco-workers were important variables to positively affect overall job satisfaction ofCambodian private employees. The result of this study indicated overall positiveperspective of private employees with predictors. This paper drew some recommendationsand implications for future study. The rigorous study of each variable was highlyrecommended for further explanations. The study also recommended that managementmay consider the practice of delivering feedback to employees in a proper manner with theright direction so that they could understand the job more precisely. Organization mayreview training possibility to increase employees’ efficacy and to build relationshipbetween management and subordinates because young potential employees consideredtraining as key motivation which may influence job satisfaction. Clear and fair careeradvancement procedure may be developed as it was long term influence on jobsatisfaction.
