Market research industry is an important part of modern information consulting industry.It makes use of scientific investigation tools, using the technique of model and statistical toolsof science, according to the needs of different enterprise or organization. It si researchactivities in consultation to solve economic and social problems in the third industry, and isthe most effective use of intellectual resources in the customer service knowledge intensiveindustry.Marketing research industry shown up with the spring breeze of reform-and-opening-upof China. After30years, professional marketing research companiesemergedlike the bambooshoots after a spring rain. The whole industry developed in the rapid process, accompanied bymany problems and challenges. As a knowledge intensive industry, the third industrydiffersfrom the first industry--manufacturing of traditional construction industry comparison, in theorganizational structure or the cost structure. But if it is used properly, we can get theadvanced experience of the application of project management in modern industry for nearly100years in this the emerging industry, the history of which is only thirty years, and achievegreat success.Originated from1960’s USA,Earned Value Analysis Method, initially only used inmilitary engineering projects, due to the effect of extraordinary and extended to the civilian.Taking a large project tracking project of GFK company as an example, through the analysismethod to the implementation of the project budget cost, earned value the actual cost, earnedvalue and other important indicators, analysis of the key oints ay project execution needs to beimproved, and optimize the project execution plan, so as to achieve the reduction of projectcost.This paper is divided into five chapters. The first chapters is introduction, introduces theresearch background, significance and research status at home and abroad and the literaturereview; chapter second is the summary of content, the cost predicament of GFK company,which annual tracking JDP project encountered; third chapter content is, for JDP in theprocess of the project execution cost of production and the progress of data is the earned valueanalysis, research on the key link and key points need to improve; fourth chapters, based onthe research results of third chapters, improve key points in the process of project, in order toachieve cost reduction target; the fifth chapter is the summary of content, improve resultscome to the conclusion of the study, and promotion of the whole project to other aspects ofthe improvement of prospect. Proved by research, can be applied to the advisory services and can effectively reduce the cost of the earned value analysis method, increase market researchon enterprise project benefit.
