Creative industrial district(CID) is a complicated symbiotic system.Thispaper builds a three-stage model to analyse the CID comprehensively andsymstematically and use the model to study Beijing798’s symbioticsystem.Then based on individual case study,this paper makes a comparativeanalysis in CID’s symbiotic systems of China,finds the problems in CID’sdevelopment.Finally,the paper proposes the optimizal approach to improve thesymbiotic system of CID.The three-stage model is the basal theory framework of this paper.Itdevides the formation and development of symbiotic system of CID into threestages:the gather of symbiotic units,the formation of symbiotic mode and theenrich of symbiotic relationship.At the same time,symbiotic environment hasinfluence on the whole symbiotic system by influence the symbiotic units.Thestudy shows that,in the process of the formation and development ofCID,symbiotic units aggregation stage is the foundation stage.The type, qualityand the aggreation level of symbiotic units affect the development of the followtwo stages. And symbiotic fusion activity factor is an important factor insymbiotic units aggregation stage,its existence attracted symbiotic units toenter. The stage of symbiotic interface build and symbiotic mode formation isthe key stage.The perfection level of symbiotic interface and the degree ofsymbiotic mode are crucial for whether the creative industry chain could beformed or not.And the formation of symbiotic mode has a direct link withsymbiotic interaction and the build of symbiotic interface.The perfection level ofsymbiotic interface determines the degree of symbiotic mode. The stage of theenrich of symbiotic relationship is the lifting stage, symbiotic relationship buildson the complete symbiotic interface and the symbiotic mode of a higherlevel.The level of richness affects the whole symbiotic system’s stability andevolution capacity.Under the influence of symbiotic environment,symbioticunits will weigh the advantages and disadvantages. When the CID maintains along-term positive symbiotic environment,the symbiotic units selection is conductive to the direction of the symbiotic behavior of system developmentwill form path dependence.Then,this paper analyzes Beijing798CID by applying the three-stagemodel.The analysis shows that,the798symbiotic systems have a certaindegree of development,but the symbiotic degree is still low.Then,from theparticular to general,comparative analysis the CID of some representativedomestic cities,pointing out the problems in the symbiotic unit,symbioticmode,symbiotic relationship and symbiotic environment of the three majorgroups of the cities,According to the case study of798and the comparativeanalysis of CID of domestic cities,this paper proposes the optimal path,which isguide the symbiotic units from aggregation to interaction to expansion,and onthis basis put forward relevant policy recommendations.
