Research For Positive Risk Response Measures After A Burst Supply Chain Accident Of The Electronics Industry

Due to the frequently happening of unexpected events, the vulnerability of the supply chain in electronics industry increases fast these days. Thus how to control as well as prompt and well-run a contingency measure at the end of the supply chain before a serious accident risk is particularly important.This article based on the response of an example electronics company after an emergency event, and proposed a deal with risk management of the supply chain in the electronics industry when emergencies approached. By describing and in-depth analyzing the response processes and emergencies organizational structure and tools can be taken, to extend the current supply chain risk management (SCRM) awareness. The main method is to identify, analyze and manage the internal and external sources of risk in related companies and their suppliers and subcontractors by improving supply chain risk management organization, processes tools, and plans. The purpose is to enhance cooperation with suppliers to carry out effective risk management, but also to avoid the impact of other sources of risk. This method is based on risk management theory, by classifying the risks in the supply chain, to build and analyze organizational structure of the risk management, and propose how to setup response processes by using control tools of risk management, thereby enhancing the company’s ability to respond to emergencies, at the end get the ultimate goal of reducing the company’s actual losses.The results show that the proposed method could improve the capabilities of supply chain risk management in the electronics industry while reducing the cost of risk management as well.
