Resources Allocation Of Multi-project Management Based On Priority Evaluation

Project management plays an important role in global society and economydevelopment over the past few decades. But along with the development of economicglobalization, the enterprises face with multiple projects which emerge with groupform and the management is difficult. So the concept of multi-project managementarises. Multi-project management is one of the hottest area in project management andin multi-project management how to handle the resource competition betweenprojects is very crucial. The reasonable allocation of resource between projects is oneof the problems in this area.This thesis put forward a method of the allocation of resource between projects.This method firstly evaluate the priority level of different projects through reasonablesystem building and analytic hierarchy process. Then allocate the resource based onthe outcome of priority evaluation. This method combines the qualitative idea and thequantitative thinking and considers the project facts and the management’s experienceand judgment. This article also exhibits the allocation of resource between fourprojects in Tianjin electric power construction company and gives advice to the studyof this area, so it has some reference meaning to the area of allocation of resourcebetween different projects.
