The Competitiveness Research Of County Economy In The Border Cold Area Of The North Of Xinjiang

‘The Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region national economic and socialdevelopment in the Twelfth Five Year Plan Outline’ devided Xinjiang into fourregional---The northern slope of the Tianshan,The Southern slope of Tianshan IndustrialBelt,The three regions in the south of Xinjiang,The Border&alpine region in northern ofXinjiang.The two former are in nicer development and more research articles, while thetwo latter are under the average level as well as involved research data. Meanwhile thisplan set the target to promote each regional to realize the harmonious coexistence of manand nature. To achieve this goal need to increase the backward areas of support andresearch.The development of county economy is an important part of urbanization strategy inour country. Alpine northern border area is located at the southern foot of the AltaiMountains,western Junggar Basin, southern Ili River Valley region in northern Xinjiang,which accounted for18.1%of total land area of Xinjiang. This paper studies the northernalpine region along the border county’s economic competitiveness,according to the overallthinking of describing,analyzing and solving problems. First, comparing with the nationalregion and county&Xinjiang economic development of the region, the author analysesbriefly the current situation of this region; Second, analyzing the competitiveness andranking of the alpine region which consists of21counties by Principal ComponentAnalysis, and then comparing with the northern Slope Economic Zone, the southern slopeof Tianshan Mountains and the southern industrial belt county three states by AnalyticHierarchy Process; Third, putting forward countermeasures and suggestions to improve theregion economic competitiveness.This paper mainly has the following innovations. First, starting from the overalldevelopment perspective, put forward the problem by comparison with the other county ofXinjiang and the national hundred county; Second, from the details, analysis the problemby four regions of Xinjiang county′s competitiveness score; Third, starting from theactual local level, thus proposed some specific measures to resolve the problem.
