A Research On Countermeasures Of Tianjin Foreign Trade Structure Adjustment And Upgrading

Relying on the location and historical culture advantages, Tianjin has gradually formed atypical foreign trade dependent mode of economic growth. Undeniably, the model impactresistance is weak and once foreign demand reduced, the economic growth will quickly loweras well as Tianjin development quality. After the subprime mortgage crisis and the Europeandebt crisis, the phenomenon such as slowing foreign trade growth, trade deficit made a wake-upcall for Tianjin foreign trade structure adjustment and upgrading. China has entered a new eraof economic structure transformation since2013, and it is also critical for Tianjin, which is oneof the most serious areas struck by the international financial crisis, to optimize the economicgrowth model under the circumstances of the inherent export industrial structure advantagesgradually fading and the lack of economic growth elasticity.Based on the general concept of foreign trade structure, this thesis described the foreigntrade development status of Tianjin in the recent7years, from aspects of trade scale,contribution degree of foreign trade, trade structure, foreign capital utilization and the portradiation function. In order to find out the main factors restricting Tianjin foreign trade structureupgrading, this thesis set up the comprehensive evaluation system of Tianjin foreign tradestructure construction level and induced3key factors determining the quality of Tianjin foreigntrade structure construction with the factor analysis model. According to each factor’s score inrecent years and feedback information of research, the article locked the main difficulties in theprocess of foreign trade structure adjustment faced by Tianjin, besides it also presented“internal trade optional system” and “external trade support system” innovatively and searchedadvanced optimization cases in the word in view of the weak links within the system.Foreign trade as the indivisible part of the whole economic structure, it will facecontradictions between short and long term goals in the process of continuous structureadjustment. This thesis aims at putting forward a series of countermeasures from thegovernment view, which can solve current problems effectively and be benefit for long-termstructural optimization. The conclusions insist that the government should apply short and longterm policy mix flexibility, and try to look for the best decision between eliminating currentcontradictions and realize long-term goals smoothly, so that the transition labour pains can beremitted.
