Growth of new classical econom ics theory is based on scale invariant under the premise of remuneration, but that it is difficult to explain the total factor productivity in the production function represented by the technological progress. In the follow-up study, the related theory of spatial econom ics abandoned the scale for the sam e assumption, and the "space" as a factor has been included in the fram ework of general equilibrium analysis. If based on scale incr easing return of indus trial agglomeration theory to explain the phenomenon of economic growth, thus more and more people pay attention to the prob lem of the relationship between the industrial agglomeration and regional economic growth.Wuhan Urban Cycle has traditionally been a industrial agglomeration in the central region highlands, is also the im portant advanced manufacturing base in the country. Wuhan Urban Cycle should seize the rare opportunities for deve lopment that the construction of “Two-oriented society” and the strategy of Central China Rising brought, play their own advantages, to sp eed up the m anufacturing development of Urban Cycle, become the important strategic fulcrum of Rising of Central China.In view of this, based on the industrial agglomeration and economic growth as the research object, the scope is limited to the Wuhan Urban Cycle. The thir d chapter first introduces the developm ent of Wuhan Urban Cycle and the cu rrent situation of the development of Urban Cycle m anufacturing. After industrial agglom eration and economic growth in the domestic and foreign existing on the basis of relevant theories, this paper choose the locatio n entropy index of Wuhan Ur ban Cycle of m anufacturing industrial concentration degree of m easure, and according to calculate the location entropy, a quantitative analysis of manufacturing divisions agglomeration. Finally using manufacturing divisions location entropy and the per capita gross industrial output value of two pan el data index, the eco nometric analysis of Urban Cycle m anufacturing industry agglomeration and the relationship between econom ic growth. The econometric analysis of panel data regr ession equation is established for two, respectively is a linear relationship betw een industrial agglom eration and econom ic growth equation and nonlinea r equation, and compare the two equations of regression results and test results.In this paper, the conclusion is obtained: Wuhan Urban Cycle most manufacturing industry there is no industrial concentrati on, but the whole m anufacturing industry agglomeration tendencies in growing; And comparative analysis of two regression equations, industrial agglom eration and economic growth through dynam ic panel empirical analysis, the empirical results show that the Wuhan Urban Cycle for the linear relationship between the industrial agglom eration and econom ic growth, industrial concentration promoted the econom ic development to a c ertain extent, did not show negative externalities caused excessive agglomeration phenomenon of economic growth. According to the above conc lusion, proposed in view of the Urban Cycle policy Suggestions for the developm ent of m anufacturing industry, including infrastructure, human resources, industrial chain integration of content.
