In recent years, Weifang municipal Party committee, municipal government always insist to put agriculture in the prominent position of national economic and social development, and make major decisions and deployments in the different stages, and actively promote co-ordination, has made remarkable achievements in agriculture and rural development work, for the province and even the whole country to the "three rural" work of creating many typical and some experiences and practices. But we must see that the severe test of the agricultural work in Weifang city is under internal risk and external competitive pressures and the quality and safety, pollution and so on, faced with resource constraints and sustainable development, high cost and low efficiency, the traditional management of agriculture and rely on scientific and technological progress, labor transfer and modern agriculture of high quality the workers demand, farmers decentralized management and the agricultural product quality safety supervision of contradiction, the urgent need to address the leading agricultural enterprises expansion speed is not fast, the farmer specialized cooperative organization is of little use, agricultural science and technology innovation ability is not strong, public management and social service level is relatively low, policy is still not complete problem. Especially in the current international financial crisis continues to deepen,the intensification of the market competition, the background of agricultural products prices downward pressure increasing, pressure and keep sustainable agricultural synergism, farmer income is bigger. Effectively solve various contradictions and problems, coping with stress and challenges of all kinds, eliminate the development problems and constraints, is Weifang City, the majority of farmers interests related to agricultural and rural development, is related to the overall economic and social development of Weifang city. Therefore, in order to solve the above problems, this paper takes Weifang city agricultural restructuring and development as the main line, to explore a suitable transformation of agriculture development in Weifang city features new ways. The first to introduce the survey of Weifang City, the agricultural development of Weifang city history on the basis of this, and then to further explore the main practice of agricultural transformation of the Weifang city and the status of agricultural development in Weifang City, and find the existing problems in the development of agricultural transformation. The fourth part: analyze advantage transformation of agriculture development in Weifang city and disadvantage analysis.
