There is a very high similarity between medical treatment and modern management consulting. Due to the influence of western culture, the thinking of management consulting originated from the western stresses the analysis, logic and importance of object itself. Since ancient times, the remedial ideas of TCM whose thinking has systematic and comprehensive features have been applied to State Governance. In Chinese enterprise management consulting, thinking of Chinese Medicine is more rational than the Western way of thinking. The cross study on TCM and management science has great value and significance for both TCM and management. TCM holistic thinking, neutralization, analogism and function relation thinking of TCM are applied to analyze and demonstrate the similarities between the human body systems and enterprise systems, including the similarity of essence blood and qi and human resources, finance as well as business, the functional similarity of TCM five organs system and the five business management systems, the similarity of human meridian and the organizational structure and processes, in addition, the model to explain the operation rule of an enterprise as a system is described. Then basic cognitive thinking on management consulting of Chinese medicine and the western thinking are compared to prove" the application of traditional Chinese medicine thinking in management diagnosis and consulting program is more rational than the use of Western way of thinking for some Chinese enterprises." Finally, McKinsey’s failure of the advisory service for Start Computer Group is taken as the argument, and thinking of Chinese Medicine is used to analyze the reasons for the failure of McKinsey consulting scheme to further prove the rationality.
