As a knowledge-intensive industries,consultation industry is a sunrise industry in China.The development of the consultation industry in a country or a region,to some extent,also reflects the economic development level.The past 100 years have witnessed the development of the consultation industry in the word,but in China,Consultation industry only have 30 years of history. For the subjective and objective reasons, management consultation market is seriously oversupply. With the more fierce competition,as well as the fast development speed of MBA education, more people have focused on the consultation industry,specially the management consultation.Management consultation services cover strategic consultation, cultural consultation, marketing consultation, human resource consultation, production management consultation and information consultation, etc. The opportunities for the development of Management consultation company is unprecedented, but there are also challenges of more fierce market competition that awaits ahead. Because of the fast growth rate of the consultation industry, competition in this industry is getting worse, some newly established company are still on the stage of entrepreneurship and strives for the survival.As for the company—Beijing United-Succeed Consulting Co. Ltd as well as its Shenzhen branch, it needs urgent solutions to address the problem. Therefore, how to correctly understand the competitive situation in the industry and how to make corresponding development strategy should be the insiders'first consideration on urgent.This thesis focuses on Beijing United-Succeed Consulting Co. Ltd and it applies PEST to analyses the external-factors-in politics, economy, technology, culture and etc. It applies SWOT to analyses the internal-external-factors; It applies "Botor's Five Model" to evaluate the competitive situation of the consultation industry of different sizes and different competitive strategies, and find out the threat and opportunity in management, marketing, production and quality-controlling, research and the business competition. Meanwhile, it analyzes the developing ability, and financial status and financial management ability. And it also evaluate the advantages and disadvantages inside the company and to analyze the especial ability and main weakness; It adopts "The Boston Matrix" to analyzes and evaluate the company on business level, to guide the company to give full play to strong point and seize opportunities, offset the threat and make good use of opportunities and eliminate weaknesses and then can provide the alternative strategy. Besides, it analyze and evaluate the developing strategy and competitive strategy of competitors, and according to the defined tasks, long-term and short-Term targets, it may determine the type of competitive strategy and the guarantee conditions of competitive strategy.
