After 20 years of development on Six Sigma management theory, the practice has proved to be a set of can draw lessons from the effective quality management mode and method. The theory had been practised through most domestic big enterprises more than a decade, have truly improved their brand awareness and the competitiveness of domestic enterprises in the international market. It has become the world famous brands such as ZTE, Lenovo, Haier...etc. Throughout the last decade, however, the present situation of the domestic small and medium-sized enterprises is that the six sigma was not successful so few small and medium-sized enterprises even know six sigma management theory. Domestic small and medium-sized enterprise because of its size and cost pressures brought by the competition in the market, making the high cost in the theory of six sigma implementation need a daunting. Research results show that most of the small and medium-sized enterprises are more willing to put their focus on opportunities and real threats, rather than to increase unnecessary advantage, or to eliminate disadvantage which can be tolerated.This paper firstly analyzed the history of quality management then based on it to study the origin of Six Sigma method and its theoretical basis, research summarizes the main methods of Six Sigma and the practical quality management tools based on Six Sigma theory. This paper mainly based on actual case as improvement in the company S electronic transformer process, according to the theory of six sigma SIPOC model to analyze the problem of company S electronic transformer quality management, concluded that must focus on improvement on process yield rate and productivity. Then according to DMAIC using improved methods of Six Sigma to define, measure, analyze, improve, control and maintain improvement points to finally meet the target. This paper aims to the selected project implement process and the effect of summary analysis to study the application of Six Sigma theory, trying to explore to provide a reference for the domestic enterprises to learn from the production process optimization model and quality management module.
