The Research And Application Of Product Design Method Based On QFD

With the globalization of the market economy and the diversification and individuation of customer demand, Product design and innovation becomes particularly important. Whether the product design can respond to market demand quickly or not become key factors in evaluation of enterprise competitiveness. Recently, in the background of economic transformation and upgrading, exploration and application of advanced product design method to improve the efficiency of product design and innovation has aroused wide attention in academic field and enterprise field. This paper takes QFD(Quality Function Deployment) as the main line, by integrating the method of customer demand analysis and combining with the theory of inventive problem solving(TRIZ) and failure mode and effect analysis(FMEA), constructed a system of product design method based on QFD to support product design.Firstly, by reviewing the course of development of product design methods, analyzed the QFD theory and its significance to product design. According to the study and practice of the theory of QFD at home and abroad, sums up the application characteristics of the method, then analyzed the limitation from the practice of QFD method and the important significance of combining with other methods to the practical application.Secondly, aiming at the problem of customer demand analysis in QFD, the method of combining qualitative and quantitative is proposed by integrated use of KANO model, fuzzy clustering analysis and AHP. Aiming at the technology conflict in QFD, combined with the theory of TRIZ and established the solving process based on QFD and TRIZ, provided the logic method and broad thinking to solve technical bottlenecks in product design. Aiming at the problem that QFD cannot effectively find the potential failure in the early stages of product design, applying the method of FMEA to identify the weak parts of design and take measures to improve the reliability and effectiveness of the design.Finally, According to the practical situation of new product design in M company, the product design method based on QFD has used in the actual project of motorcycle product design which not only improve the efficiency of product design, but also improve the reliability of the product design effectively.
