Triz Theory In Odm Enterprise New Product Development Application

The ability of novel product development is the core competence for the survival and development of enterprise; it significantly influences the operation and prospects of the company. In order to occupy more market share, ODM companies should develop and pay great attention to the novel product development ability, creating competitiveness.In the process of novel product development, brain storm and example method will be induced in the product design and the industrial process optimization in the enterprise. This is the usual standard of process for the management system of novel product development. As a solution for the invention, the TRIZ theory can be used in the novel product development, find innovation program and solve the problem. Firstly, this article elucidates the theory of new product development and introduces the TRIZ theory and background of ZS Company. Then we analyze the problems in the golf shaft product development and compare the difference between traditional development methods and TRIZ theory methods. In the traditional way, false-test and example method are usually adopted. However, we search the plan and direction from the basic engineering index and figure in TRIZ theory methods, and then we compare the different in the real problem. Finally, we suggest that TRIZ theory can effectively promote the new product development ability of enterprises.We use TRIZ theory analysis method in development process of golf shaft. It concludes several methods that how we can apply TRIZ theory in the ODM industry product development and TRIZ theory can improve the efficiency of novel product development in ZS Company.
