A Study On Site-choosing And Size Of The Logistics Parks For Wuhan City

The logistics parks have plenty of connotation, relating to industry, management, planning, engineering and other things, but we mostly study the logistics parks from the view of urban space in this article. Firstly, the article begins with the appearance and development of several countries abroad, and generalizes the experience of building their logistics parks. In the part, we emphasis on German logistics parks. In our hometown, we choose representative logistics parks in three cities which are Beijing City, Tianjin City, Shanghai City as the examples to study. We analyse the site-choosing, size and function of the representative logistics parks and the relation between the logistics parks and urban traffic, industry parks and other factors. On the basis of the study on the logistics parks in and abroad, we summarize the principles and methods which can be used to choose the locations of logistics parks and to calculate the size of the logistics parks. Then, we use the principle and methods in Wuhan City and contrast the planning with implement of the logistics parks to confirm the idiographic all kinds of factors which affect directly the site-choosing and size. And then, the article discusses primarily the effects that the logistics parks gives to the development of Wuhan. In the end, some conclusions and recommendations are made which are supposed to be helpful for future study.
