With the progress of information and communication technology, the "flatness" of the world is further deepening. Thomas L. Friedman’s point of "the World is Flat" led the focus of world economic man into a globalization of a World that "has been erased", and into a global competition. In the book "Competing in a Flat World", Li Fung Group tells us that earlier than the appearance of Friedman’s theory of World, the flat flow of business process has already realized. The realization of 3D printing technology and its expansion across the sectors make the transfer of one thing to another into end.to.end "one.stop" information transportation. The close relation, convenient logistics, swift and efficient information transfer, are connecting and weaving people’s activities into an invisible chain series.First of all, based on the analyzing of currencies of small & medium.sized trading companies in China and combining the supply chain management theories and the supply chain management mode of Li Fung Group, this thesis discusses the following aspects including the formation motivation of a supply chain, cases of trading companies’ role in economic behaviors and the consideration of cost saving. Therefore, the author concludes that small& medium.sized trading companies must build their own supply chain management mode suitable to company business and specialty characteristics, foster new foreign trade competition advantages and seek growth, of enterprise value to strengthen their resilience and competitiveness of supply chain management.Second, in the selection g of transforming supply chain management and the design of the direction and method of mode optimizing, small& medium.sized trading companies should make an analysis based on their own characteristics and the main and industry, specific management elements (the bottleneck link needing to;be solved in products, resources, and supply chain), formulate management goals (which determines the future optimization direction of supply chain), and determine the management focuses (the optimization focuses of supply chain management). They also should develop the optimization of supply chain management mode with goal.oriented as the judgment standard. This part briefly discusses the four different industry standard growth model of supply chain managers.Finally, through the analysis of T company’s supply chain management mode and the supply chain management mode developed on the basis of three aspects including product features, trade and industry status quo, this thesis further demonstrates its point, that is, if small& medium.sized trading companies want to adapt the global integration of the big economy and small world and to adapt the fact that the participants of economic activities and their requirements become increasingly diversified and complicated, industry information is clearer, more transparent and more changeable, and trading companies’ traditional middleman status is increasingly embarrassed and competition ability is continuously weakened, they must grow into a supply chain management pattern of specialized features.
