| With the rapid development of global tourism, hotel industry needs large quantities of high quality employees so as to overcome the gap of human capital in the industry. For tourism colleges and universities which require stronger practical abilities, internship experience in hotel is an integral part in teaching objectives.This article makes an independent——samples T test about students’behavior intentions of major, internship and industry choice to different subjects from some tourism colleges and universities in Inner Mongolia. The aim is analyze the three behavior intention whether will be different in students before and after the internship. Students’hospitality internship identity is closely related to students’ major choice and career choice. To accomplish the research goal, the study set hospitality internship identity questionnaire based on the systematic review of relevant studies. The article takes 4 tourism institutes in Inner Mongolia as the empirical study objects, adopting analysis measures such as Factor Analysis, Mean and Multi Factor Line Regression Analysis, study whether internship identity which belongs to attitude will affect students’behavior intentions of major, internship and industry choice or not.This study concludes:Students’hospitality internship identity can be divided into 4 latitudes:cognition, emotion, matching, behavior; Students hold on an affirmative attitude toward hospitality internship; After their internship, students’ behavior intentions of major, internship and industry choice all lower than before; There is a positive and prominent correlation between students’internship identity and students’behavior intentions of major, internship and industry choice. Among them, the dimension of matching is the greatest degree of influence factor on major and internship choice; Students’behavior intentions of major, internship and industry choice have a significantly positive correlation. In order to enhance Students’ hospitality internship identity and students’behavior intentions of major, internship and industry choice, this paper analyzes the unfavorable factors that influence Students’hospitality internship identity, and provide the corresponding improvement measures from the angle of student, school, hotel. |
