| With the importance of knowledge sharing in Knowledge Intensive Organizations increasingly prominent, knowledge sharing has become a key element of organizations’ development, determining its competitiveness. Businesses or individuals with limited knowledge, need constant interaction with the outside world and conduct effective knowledge sharingto acquire new knowledge and promote their own continuous perfection. Knowledge sharing benefits not only employees themselves, but also other colleagues, and even the entire organization. However, the occurrence of knowledge sharing behavior is not easy, because it is not a routine job duties for employees, by its very nature,it means a higher commitment and additional contributions to the organization.In view of this, this study selects knowledge workers as research object, from the perspective of Guanxi, and makes explorations whether their perception of the Guanxi will affect knowledge sharing behavior. Scholars have found that for some employees knowledge sharing behavior meansunconditional loss of resources and interests, scarcity of organizational resources makes employees struggle for resources and benefits to achieve personal goals and individual competition.resulting in political behavior and political atmosphere everywhere and it strains relations between employees and has a negative impact on employees’ Guanxi and the knowledge sharing within the organization. But the success of the political behavior largely depends on the employee’s level of political skills.This paper constructs the theoretical model and corresponding theoretical assumptions on the basis of extensive literatures,and makes investigatation with mature scales in different areas and enterprises,such as Nanjing, Suzhou and Hangzhou including employees’Guanxi, knowledge sharing behavior and political skills.and analyzes collected samples by using SPSS and Liserl software.The study shows that:employees’Perceived Obligational Guanxi and Expressive Guanxi have a positive effect on knowledge sharing behavior,and Employees’ Perceived Instructive Guanxi has a negative effect on its knowledge sharing behavior,impeding employees’knowledge sharing behavior. In the end, based on Employees’Guanxi, the development of political skill and promotion of knowledge sharing behavior,this paper proposes recommendations for knowledge management about these three aspects. |
