Based on the academic research on the influence factors of lottery sales domestic and abroad and the lottery actual development condition in China and the United States, in this paper, respectively from the overall and the way of play analyzing the influence factors of lottery sales of the two countries based on panel data. For better study the factors affecting the domestic lottery sales, this paper study respectively based on the overall, subsystem and subsystem & the way of play three levels and get the following main conclusions:There are significant positive correlation between per capita disposable income, urbanization rate, the proportion of middle-aged people and the per capita lottery sales both in China and the United States. However there are significant negative correlation between the educational index,unemployment and the per capita lottery sales; For China, the higher the proportion of minority, the higher the per capita lottery sales, but in the United States the non-white ratio is higher, the lower the per capita lottery sales; There is significantly familiar of the complementary effect of different lottery sales between China and the United States but not the substitution effect; For China, there is significantly complementary effect between video lottery sales and the keno lottery sales, but the US contrary.The per capita lottery sales reached the vertex of RMB 449.60 when the per capita disposable income reached RMB 164512.57 and the per capita lottery sales and per capita disposable income appear inverted U-shaped relationship in china: the higher the per capita disposable the higher per capita lottery sales before the vertex, but the lower of per capita lottery sales after the vertex because the lottery is regarded as inferior goods; Also there presents inverted U-shaped relationship between the per capita disposable income and the sales of sports & welfare lotteries; The affecting of demographic indicators for sports lottery sales is not significant, but have a significant impact for the welfare lottery sales; There is no significant relationship between welfare video lottery sales and the other lottery sales except complementary effect with sports quiz lottery sales.
