A Study On Inclusive Growth Of Economy In Lian Nan

In this paper, we take Liannan Yao autonomous county as the research subject to study inclusive economic growth in ethnic minority areas. The background of the problem is that economic and social development of ethnic minority areas in our country is relatively backward, meanwhile, the gap between them with developed areas is widening, and Liannan Yao autonomous county is the key one for poverty alleviation county in Guangdong province.This paper combines the characteristics of the economy in national regions, using literature analysis method, case analysis and field research method, to study the economic status,problems and countermeasures of inclusive growth in Liannan Yao autonomous county.Firstly, the general studies of inclusive economic growth at home and abroad were reviewed in the introduction, and it tends out that scholars have different opinions and research focus. Due to the characteristics of national economy, this paper defines the nature of inclusive economic growth as the growth of fairness, the growth of the share, sustainable growth and pro-poor growth, and researches these four factors from five theoretic perspectives as social exclusion, welfare economics, the symbiosis theory, the development of modern economic growth theory and the interpretation on the economics theory. Besides,according to them, four fundamental approaches are proposed for the inclusive growth.In order to verify the above four basic paths, chapter four analyzes the present situation and problems of Liannan Yao autonomous county inclusive economic growth. By collecting14 indexes of relevant data of economic and social development from 2004 to 2013, for 10 years in a row on Liannan Yao autonomous county, Qingyuan city, Guangdong province and comparative analyzing them, the county’s character agriculture growth is stable, ethnic tourism develops better, yao culture is being well maintained and the work on people’s livelihood makes progress, which lays a foundation for inclusive economic growth. But there are also existing problems that the per capita GDP and per capita income level is relatively low, education quality needs to be improved, investment, consumption, post and communications business growth is insufficient, the unreasonable situation of regional industrial structure restricts the inclusive growth of the economy.Chapter five surveys the share satisfaction degree of Liannan Yao autonomous county economic achievements. Questionnaire involves six major categories and 48 questions. The results of the survey show that Liannan Yao autonomous county residents share 70.45 points overall satisfaction on economic results, compared with satisfactory standard 80 points.Overall satisfaction is short of 9.55 points, which needs to be improved. The most satisfactory economic results is 77.06 points of the quality of education. The second is the infrastructure of 70.71 points, the public service of 70.36 points, the ecological environment of 68.95 points, public affairs of 68.67 points. The medical and health care is the lowest of67.01 points.Chapter six, according to previous analyzed problems and reasons as well as results of the questionnaire survey, puts forward the countermeasures of Liannan Yao autonomous county inclusive economic growth, which includes formulating the development strategy of inclusive economic growth, speeding up the economic development of Liannan Yao autonomous county, promoting sustainable development of economy in Liannan Yao autonomous county, and raising the share of Liannan Yao autonomous county economic results satisfaction.
