Research On Leading Industries Selecting And Developing In Shucheng County’s

The most important economic tasks of our country during the "12th Five Year Plan" are:to accelerate the transformation of economic development mode, optimize industrial structure, improve industrial competitiveness and take a new road to industrialization. In 2015, the last year of the "12th Five Year Plan", economic development mode and industrial structure are in deep adjustment, during which process there also go with industrial layout adjustment, substantial industry transfer in different regions. And for the less developed regions, this year also offers a good opportunity to usher in the change of industrial structure, industrial agglomeration, and rapid economic development. County economy is an important part of our socialist market economy and the most basic economic unit. Its development plays a post role in support of the whole social economy and contributes to the improvement of our country’s urban-rural dual economy structure. Also county economy plays an important role in promoting the development of urbanization, industrialization and agriculture modernization. Therefore, under the background of industrial structure adjustment and industry transfer, it will be of great significance to promote county economy by correctly choosing county territory’s leading industry, so as to better point the direction for the local industrial structure adjustment and for further industrial transfer.Based on the theories of industrial economics, regional economics, and statistics, firstly, this paper, through reviewing the basic theory of regional leading industry and analyzing the factors which influence county’s leading industries and the general characteristics of county economy, determines the selection principle of leading industry in Shucheng County. And based on the traditional selection benchmark for leading industry, this thesis introduces the dynamic shift-share benchmark, and constructs the selection index of leading industry in Shucheng County.Secondly, this paper, taking Hefei area as reference, through using the share-shift method (SSM), has made a preliminary analysis of the industrial base, industrial structure of Shucheng County, and got a three share-shift benchmark data. Finally, through the results of factor analysis combined with qualitative analysis, this research has selected Shucheng County’s four leading industries:agricultural and sideline products processing industry; electrical machinery and equipment manufacturing industry; stroller crib industry; feather and its products industry. While the four leading industries which Shucheng government has selected are:agricultural and sideline products processing; stroller and crib industry, auto manufacturing and feather and its products industry. Given to the results differences, the author gives the explanations from the three aspects of the perspective of choice, the choice of data index and the understanding of industry characteristics.Finally, according to the economic development environment and the actual situation the Shucheng County is facing, this paper on the macro level, gives suggestions including promoting further investment in leading industries, undertaking the transfer of industries, and improving the basic hardware and software service environment; finally, according to the leading industries and the problems existed in industries development, this paper on the micro level, gives each leading industry development recommendations accordingly.
