Executive pay has been a topic of concern to the community in general. Due to the separation of management and ownership, The shareholders entrust the management agency to exercise the right of management, while the management incentive by The compensation at the same time they can realize the maximum of enterprise value. It is not difficult to infer the nature of corporate equity will have an impact on executive pay. Based on previous research, the state-owned enterprises executive compensation is generally higher than that of the private enterprise of executive compensation. In fact, monopoly industries will have a huge impact on executive compensation. Therefore, according to the monopoly industries, state-owned enterprises are subdivided into monopoly state-owned enterprises and state-owned enterprises in order to analysis the executive pay gap of monopoly state-owned enterprises and the general of state-owned enterprises.Firstly, the related concepts are defined and reviewed on the basis of domestic and overseas scholars to study factors affecting executive pay, which combined with article topics related research of the sort. Secondly, analysis the basic theory, put forward the hypothesis of this paper. Again, this paper from 2011 to 2013 A-share listed companies as samples, executive compensation factors for state-owned monopoly state-owned enterprises and the general conduct variance analysis. The main conclusion of this paper has:(1)Executive compensation and corporate performance is positively related, to the degree of the general state-owned enterprise is stronger than the monopoly of state-owned enterprises;(2)Executive pay is related with the company size;(3)Executive pay is negatively related to the first big shareholder’s stake;(4)Monopoly executive pay is related to the proportion of independent director. In short, our pay system needs to be improved.
