Abstract/Summary:
As well as known, both for individual employees or businesses, the problem of employee resignation is a loss. Since Tianjin Veolia Water Industry Co. was established in 2008, the high rate of external-workers resignation has become a serious problem. Due to the impact of the country’s economic, External-workers have become an integral and special part in the companies, subject to more and more attention by the government and the public. This paper selects the problem of Veolia Water Co.’external-workers Resignation, analyze the impact factors of behavior for external-workers resignation, and to propose some suggestions.Based on the theories and models of employee resignation, combined with the actual situation and the characteristics of the Veolia Water Industry Co., The paper select the three variables of personal factors, working relationship factors and economic opportunity factors, and try to analyze the reasons of resignation for Veolia Water Industry Company’ external-workers. Meanwhile, this paper selects four indicators of individual work values, organizational self-esteem, superior support and employment opportunities to build employee resignation mode. Through analysis of the main factors affecting external-workers resignation, we draw the following conclusions:(1) the negative correlation between individual work values and turnover intention;(2)the negative relationship in the organization of self-esteem, and superior support between turnover intention;(3)the positive correlation relationship between employment and turnover intention.According to research findings, this paper puts forward the suggestions at the strategy and tactics from the company development and human resources management.At the same time, the companies have been expanding,and the external-workers groups become more stable human resources,which can reduce labor costs to enable the companies to achieve maximum benefit.
