Research And Analysis On Construction Of Tianjin Foreign Trade Center

Tianjin is an important port city in northern China, since modern times has been a trading center and economic center of the northern region. Premier Li Keqiang visited Tianjin in 2013 proposed the construction of Tianjin being China’s first comprehensive reform Innovation Zone. Tianjin affirmed the direction of future development. Studies from home and abroad mainly focused on the area (space) economics, empirical research on world cities and the necessity and feasibility of domestic cities especially with Shanghai. The major study of Tianjin involving its positioning as a shipping center in the north, there is no combination of current economic and policy trends around the comprehensive construction of Tianjin Foreign Trade Center started to explore.Firstly, reasonable positioning the development of Tianjin on building Foreign Trade Center, proposed that Foreign Trade Centre is a product growing up with modern international division of labor formation and commercial civilization, it consists of comprehensive trade content, diversity trade body, three-dimensional way of trading hub and trade organizations and networks. The important significance of Tianjin Foreign Trade Center building includes participation in globalization, industrial upgrading and updating, improving urban competitiveness and stimulating economic development in the hinterland of significance.As the main important trade center for a long time, Tianjin has a favorable geographical advantages on the construction of Foreign Trade Center such as a good industrial base and national strategic development policy given " first try first " privilege, but there are some obvious disadvantages such as port trade status decreased and the carrier and platform construction market system construction is lagging behind and so on.Tianjin Port and coordinated economic development in the hinterland is of great significance for the whole construction of Foreign Trade Center. Therefore, choose Tianjin Port as the research object selects its immediate hinterland-Beijing, Tianjin, Hebei, Shanxi and analyzed using the data from 1995-2012 year of hinterland of Tianjin Port Container Throughput and integrated industrial output as the study variables. Use Var model to establish an empirical analysis Research linkage between ports and the hinterland economic development. The results show that there is a mutual influence between the port and the hinterland economy, a stable relationship and mutually reinforcing. However, the positive effect of promoting last for a short duration, though remarkable, but did not form long-term sustainability of the role.Based on the above analysis, we will put forward the basic path of Tianjin Foreign Trade Center Building:accelerating the carrier and platform construction and improving the policy support system. Making efforts to build a carrier and commodity trading platform as the core function, providing modern international logistics and shipping services, forming a international trade center faced to Northeast Asia, rooted in the Bohai Sea, and with the multi-level radiation "Three North" region.
