The Relationship Analysis Of Urbanization Level And Economic Growth In Gansu Province

Our country has entered the critical stage of build a well-off society in an all-round way, in the important period of the economic transformation and upgrading and accelerating socialist modernization, also in a critical period of in-depth development of urbanization, must fully understand the significance of urbanization to the economic and social development, firmly grasp the huge opportunity contain in the urbanization, accurately judge the new trend of developing and the new characteristics of urbanization, to properly cope with the challenge of the risks of urbanization.Although the economy of Gansu province has developed rapidly in recent years,but its overall level is still lags behind most regions of the country.So,explore the relationship between urbanization and economic development in Gansu province,has important significance to improve the degree of urbanization and economic development in Gansu province,and further promote the coordinated development of both.The author reference research results on the basis of existing,based on the statistical data from 1978 to 2013 in Gansu province, to research the relationship between the urbanization and the economic development.First of all, the literature review was carried out on the selected topic background and significance, domestic and foreign research present situation and the main research content of this article.And then, in the theory part expounds the basic connotation of urbanization,the mutual promotion mechanism of urbanization and economic development.through the collection and sorting the statistical data from 1978 to 2013 of Gansu province, analysis of the status quo and characteristics development process and phase in Gansu province,respectively from the per capital GDP,industrial structure and the income of urban and ruralresidents,this part analysis the status quo and characteristics of industrial structure of Gansu province,as well as the speed and quality of economic growth.The second,from the angle of industrial level of urban and rural residents’ income gap,analysis the relationship between economic development and urbanization;The author using the econometric analysis software Eviews5.0,analysis whether there is a long-term equilibrium relationship between the urbanization level and per capita GDP, using grey correlation analysis of the relationship between the urbanization and industrial structure,compare the role of three industries in urbanization impetus.By the end of the article,give the relevant conclusions of urbanization and economic development,in order to better promote the urbanization and economic development in Gansu province,put forward policy suggestions of the three angles,from adjusting the industrial structure optimization and promoting economic growth,improve the level of national life,to speed up the urbanization process.
