Then, this paper introduces the correlation theories of income and happiness, spending and well-being; provide theory support for the later to talk about their relationships. In the following analysis, the paper mainly adopts the China Labor-force Dynamics Survey(CLDS) data, uses SPSS to make descriptive statistical analysis with the sample data, including two aspects: horizontal analysis and structure analysis of the basic conditions of family income and family expenditure, and then from two aspects describes the subjective well-being including level analysis and distribution characteristics. Through the study, we found that at present the average household income of the highest income group is almost eight times of the lowest income groups in our country, and the ratio of the highest consumption group with the lowest consumption group also reached 7.89:1. Looking from the distribution of well-being, nearly seventy percent of people feel happy in our country, and the higher the income or expenditure, the bigger the mean of happiness. Then, combined with the multiple linear regression models, this paper makes empirical research on the relationship between country residents’ family income, expenditure and well-being. From the results of the research, study shows that there is a minimal correlation between family total income and well-being and there is a strong relationship between family expenditure and subjective well-being in the regression mode, of which tourism spending, donated property spending and living housing decoration spending are play a very important role on influence the subjective well-being.Through the data statistics and empirical research, this article draws some important suggestions, mainly include:(1) promoting happy consumption, including encouraging consumers strengthening mental consumption and paying attention to rational consumption in order to realize consumption in harmony with well-being, in addition, happy consumption also requires the government to improve the objective environment and provided a basis for happy consumption;(2)make consumer income to guarantee the realization of happiness, our country residents’ income is generally low and although there is no direct relationship between income and well-being, the income is also the basis of material consumption and can indirectly impact on residents’ well-being, so raise the income level of people is still have significance for improving residents’ well-being in a certain period of time, and there are some specific measures include: regulate social income to narrow the gap between the rich and the poor, lower inflation to stable price level, and increase the national income in order to increase national well-being;(3) advocate the correct concept of happiness, including set up the correct outlook on life, the reasonable planning of distribution time and balance point of view, to ensure that the real happiness can become true.
