Compensation has been the important problems for troubling state-owned enterprise’s human resources development and management. Compensation should be scientific, fair, competitive and incentive, whereas currently it is far behind and is in urgent need of studies on the compensation issue in state-owned enterprises.Based on the actual background of X engineering company, the paper reviews and combs compensation theory both at home and abroad, using scientific compensation theory to analyze the current situation of company’s human resources management and compensation system, ultimately finds out the problems existing in the company’s compensation system and analyzes the causes of the problems. Such as, employee’s wage is low and payment level is not proportionate to labor value; Performance evaluation is just mere formality and the accordingly cashed payment lack incentive; Compensation structure is unreasonable, which form the wrong career orientation, etc. Based on salary survey, job analysis and job evaluation, the paper redesigns the compensation structure of X company, determines compensation level and make according budget and adjustment,and ultimately form more scientific and reasonable compensation system for X engineering company to make it accord with company’s actual development.New compensation plan is more incentive, therefore it can bring vitality to company, also support and motivate the development of company.
