Modern transportation equipment size is expanding rapidly with the development of Chinese economy, but there are many problems about transportation equipment support. In order to improve the situation of equipment support, scholars at home and abroad have studied the problem from different perspectives, such as the system reliability, spare part stock management, finite and infinite repair capacity, and they get a lot of important research results,but they did not consider the supplier incentive. Performance based contract can effectively encourage suppliers, but the study of the question mainly concentrated in performance based contract design, and there is little research on the analysis of support strategy. This paper systematically studies the transportation equipment support strategy on performance. Divide transportation equipment support into repairable spare support strategy, which ignores spare part loss and part repairable spare support strategy, which takes the loss spare part into consideration, and make researches on the influence of various factors on support strategies.First, use the multi-server queueing theory to build the repairable transportation equipment support system based on performance, deduce system performance indexes, analyze the system availability sensitivity, built the support cost system based on it, solve the maximize supplier profit optimization control model with system availability constraint, design the targeted genetic algorithm. Through the numerical experiments, analyze the influence of various factors on the support strategy.Then, use the queuing network to simulate part repairable transportation equipment support process based on performance, deduce system performance indexes, analyze the system availability sensitivity, built the more comprehensive support cost system based on it, and by the genetic algorithm solve part repairable equipment support strategy. Through the numerical experiments, compare similarities and differences with the repairable spare support strategies, and analyze the influence of various factors on the support strategy.Last, count the four months data of engine trouble of a bus company, find the existing support strategy can’t guarantee the system normal running by calculating. The results show that the existing support strategy can’t satisfy the system requirement. Through the optimization of the transportation equipment support model based on performance, improve the situation of equipment support greatly, and we can see the support model based on performance is effective.Researches show that the performance-based logistics can increase the enthusiasm of suppliers, and ensure the normal operation of equipment system; the maintenance efficiency and supply efficiency is the key to improve the system availability, and spare part stock quantity makes little impact on the system availability; the chief role of system availability constraint is changing the profit between suppliers and operators, and makes little impact on the actual system availability; the single maintenance team support strategies require much higher maintenance efficiency, and it is easily affected by the endogenous variables, by contrast, the multiple maintenance team support strategy is steady and achieve easily; in the consideration of the fault spare parts loss, the fault spare parts repairable rate is higher, the support strategy is much closer to the single maintenance team support strategy in the same condition.
