Over the last few year air quality concerns in China have mostly been crystallised in Beijing, which became infamous for it air quality, in 2013 the "airpocalypse" reached Shanghai and triggered an awareness wake up call about the importance of air quality and a boom in the sales of the two most commons weapons at hand to limit exposure: Air purifiers and masks.The goal of this thesis is to understand the booming market of air purification and find clues on which are the decisional factors of consumers when choosing an air purifier.
