Salary system is an important component in human resource management system. It presents the employee’s value and its structure level is directly related to both employee’s personal benefit and company’s operational cost. Its design causes direct influence on the company’s management and operation. Therefore, how to scientifically and reasonably design the salary system is crucial for enterprises to survive and develop in the fast-changing market.This article is to re-design the state-owned JLGY company salary system. With of 50 years’development of JLGY company (inclusive of the pre-restructuring period), up to recent years, due to product structure and management level, the company performance is going down, problems in salary system is starting to come out, and internal conflicts are expanding, which has slowed down the company’s development.Under this circumstance, after study of salary system evolution and current status, I have made analysis of JLGY company salary system status and existing problems, and further explain "JLGY company salary system re-design proposal" (herein called "the proposal"). The proposal defines the design purpose and general logic, then confirms the design procedure, and makes comparison of company current salary status. In this way, it standardizes the salary package by re-designing the company salary structure. With full consideration of different level of positions, apply annual salary, basic salary plus project bonus, basic salary plus sales commission, or responsibility relating to performance etc. to different employees, like middle management, researcher, sales and admins.
