The Study Of Role Of Social Capital In Cherry Family Farm Operation In Village Huanglong Xian

The primary task of new countryside construction is the development of modern agriculture, enhancing the rural economic strength. The family farm as a new subject of agricultural production and operation, and it plays an important role in promoting the development of modern agriculture and increasing farmers’income. The 2013 "Central First Document" puts forward the concept of "family farm" for the first time, and puts forward the policy to encourage and support the development of the family farm. This makes family farms that originally limited to rural spontaneous development, quickly become a hot social concern. This provides a good social environment for the development of family farms. Thus family farms upsurge across the country. Clearly, developing modem agriculture that based on family farm is a new path of construction of new countryside and rural economy.This article from the perspective of social capital researches how to promote the healthy development of the family farm. This research takes cherry family farms that have certain typical significance in village Huanglong xian of Wendeng city, Shandong province as an example. First, the study gets the development presents situation of first-hand data of cherry family farm in the village of huanglong xian through the methods of Questionnaire survey, in-depth interviews and direct observation to investigate. Then, this research analyzes the important role of social capital in cherry family farm operation by using of social capital theory and collective action theory, and by combining qualitative analyses and quantitative analyses. The analysis is made mainly form aspects of trust reciprocity, norms, social relationship network, research network and government network capital. It analyzes how the social capital help family farm to realize the moderate concentration of land, get development capital and technical guidance, open up stable sales market, get a sound social service system, and to improve the quality of the farmers. Again, this paper analyzes the problems of cherry family farm and puts forward feasible solutions. Finally, the research comes to solutions, discusses the problems of cherry family farm and thinks actively about solutions, in order to summarize the enlightenment of family farm using social capital to achieve rapid development.This study analyzes objectively the important role of social capital in the development of family farm, in order to summarize successful operation model. This study aims to help farmers learn experience of running the family farm and improve their ability to develop family farm by using social capital. This research wants to promote the government to attach great importance to the leading role of family farm in new rural construction, with the purpose of creating good policy environment for the development of family farm. It also provides reference for other family farms in Wendeng city. At the same time, this paper hopes that through a large number of first-hand information and through about overcoming obstacles hindering the long-term development of the family farm, for providing beneficial reference for further research the healthy development of the family farm and enriching the theoretical study of the family farm.
