Study On The Mechanism Of Engineering Construction Standardization To Project Economic Benefit

With the rapid development of economic globalization and information technology, standardization has become one of the best tools to promote the development of industry and foreign trade, and standardize market economic order. Countries make it as one of the important strategic goals in order to improve national independent innovation capability and the core competitiveness. Therefore, the problems of economic benefits of standardization draw the attention of the international organization for standardization and experts and scholars from all over the world. However, the current research mainly focused on the size of standardized economic benefit, the researches about standardization how to affect the economic benefits, and its mechanism are less.Engineering construction standardization is an important part of standardization, which has important effects on the project economic benefit. Without considering the influence of the state, industrial and regional economic policy conditions, this master’s thesis, from the perspective of the project management, analyses the impact of engineering construction standardization to the project economic benefit.This master’s thesis, standing at the project level, uses project management as medium, which studies the influence of engineering construction standardization to project management, as well as the influence of project management to project economic benefit. Finally, it analyses the mechanism of engineering construction standardization to project economic benefit: the cognition and development and revision, execution, supervision and inspection, feedback and disposal of standards make up the engineering construction standardization activities, and the activities, by acting on 8 factors such as project schedule, quality, cost, safety, information, contracts, brand and organization and coordination, affect project economic benefit.This thesis, based on the content of the path analysis, builds the assessment index system of the impact engineering construction standardization to project economic benefit, and design the content of the questionnaire, according to the index system, to investigate engineering professionals,in the Beijing area. Then, using SPSS software to analyze the questionnaire data, and establish the relationship between indicators. Finally, quantitatively study the effect of engineering construction standardization to project economic benefit, pinpointing the size of the impact on different stage of engineering construction standardization activities to the project economic benefit, and providing guidance for engineering staff to grasp the main points of the standardization activities in order to improve the project economic benefit.
