The Chinese economy and trade scale have been increased dramatically during the past several years. As the world economy becomes more integrated into "one" (interrelated economy), China is now playing a more important role in the current world trade frame. In the situation of an upgraded trade competition, China is now considering its FTA (Free Trade Area) plan as a part of its new national strategy.In the meanwhile, the E-Commerce has also experienced a fast growth period in China. As more companies listed in the US stock market (like JD.com, Alibaba group), new IPO records have been made continuously, which in turn proves there are still huge potentials rest in this newly emerged market. Companies like Alibaba now facing many new challenges, such as how to grab the opportunity in the more opened world trade market? How to compete with the big players like Amazon.com and eBay in the worldwide scale? How to import more excellent products from other countries to China? These questions also worth the managers and specialties to think about.The framework of this article is shown as below:Firstly, this article introduced the background, the purpose and the basic concepts related to this topic. Also through a macro-perspective, the author use the PEST model to analyze the whole Chinese market.Then according to the current B2C cross board function division of Alibaba, this article analyzed both import and export markets and respectively the company’s biggest challengers. By using a SWOT analysis and then a SWOT matrix analysis, the strength and weakness of the two Alibaba’s subsidiary companies are clearly pointed out, and correspondently the suggestions to the problems.In the last part, by comparison and analysis the common problems lied in the both companies, this article tries to use synergy effects to make some suggestions based on the integration of the whole Alibaba group’s advantages.
