Study On Tourism Resources Development Of Qingcheng Ancient Town

Under increasing urbanization and economic globalization, the ancient town as an important historical and cultural tourism resources, is facing good tourism development opportunity. The ancient town tourists’ cultural pursuit brings huge potential market demand. At the same time, the ancient town’s rich historical and cultural resources are also facing strong impact. The development of ancient town’s tourism resources will be greatly improved town image, ancient cultural quality, and also promote the ancient town’s sustainable development of cultural tourism. In December 2014, Qingcheng town was successfully cited to create national 4A level scenic spots. This added new vitality and new chance to the ancient town tourism development. Therefore, further study of Qingcheng ancient town’s development of tourism resource, has a strong practical significance.This article is based on Qingcheng town as research object, using the theories of Tourist Area Life Cycle Theory, sustainable development theory, ecological tourism theory as theory base. We calculate the town’s tourism resources, do field investigation, knowing the overall distribution, category, characteristics and status of the system. Not only we do analyze Qingcheng town’s all kinds of tourism resources and visit condition of, but also show the Qingcheng town’s efforts and progress on tourism development over the past years.We analyze the advantages and disadvantages of tourism development in Qingcheng town. Its advantages are high resource level, good taste, location advantage, profound cultural background, excellent ecological environment, strong potential advantage. The tourism of Qingcheng town is at the early stage head, facing many challenges. Such as poor road traffic, the scenic spot is not easy to get in, and lack of funds, land and talent people to manage and do marketing. The Chinese western development has brought a rare opportunity for tourism industry. Tourism industry will become the western special advantage industries in the province. The Province government, city government provides good policy to tourism. Qingcheng town can use the Lanzhou-Baiyin tourism cycle to develop its tourism. To create national 4A level scenic spots bring good chances to its tourism development, it also do favor on standardized the tourism management of Qingcheng town. Speed up the tourism development in Qingcheng town can build a new economic engine for the city’s tourism, make a important spot on ancient silk road and do favor on Lanzhou economic growth. It also provide good leisure place for urban residents.Combined the analysis of tourism resource development and actual condition of ancient town, we offer a preliminary scheme of tourism resource development of Qingcheng town. We will focus on raising the taste of tourism, comprehensive develop the famous historical and cultural town’s landscape. We will set a large wetland park, a large water park and five modern manors. To implement the plan, we will strengthen the follow things:build the constructures of infrastructure; create good conditions to attract investment; use more measures to expand the construction land; use a variety of media do marketing campaign; strengthen the organize and coordinate function of government. The government will play leading role, relevant experts, scholars and entrepreneurs will join in. They will joint to research and argue the development of tourism in Qingcheng town. Protect tourism resources should always in the process of tourism development, especially valuable cultural and historical resources.
