Research On Project Scheduling Management Of Ship-repairing Based On Critical Chain Technique

Ship-repairing projects involve a large number of processes with high requirement in technique. There are great differences among the different repairing process. Therefore, the ship-repairing project belongs to non-convention projects. During the projects, there are little data to be referred to and the time limit is so dubious that the workers can only estimate it by their subjective experience. Because of their limitation of themselves, traditional project scheduling management methods fail to deal with the project changes flexibly and project schedule slips occur frequently. Under this background, based on the critical chain technique, this paper precedes optimal design on the project planning and control in ship-repairing project for a project scheduling management scheme with a minimum project duration which is fit for the actual ship-repairing project management.This paper carries out the research on ship-repairing project by taking project scheduling management, the theory of constraints and the critical chain technique as the theoretical basis. The main works are as follows:(1) By summarizing the related theory about Project Scheduling Management, the thesis introduced the project planning and controlling management as well as the main method in project scheduling management; summed up and summarized the theoretical basis, fundamental assumption, main idea and management superiorities of the critical chain; at last, introduced the current related research situation from two aspects, theoretical research and application research on the critical chain technique.(2) Through the introduction of project scheduling management mode, current situation and the planning system of the ship-repairing project, combining with the research results, this paper summarized the main features of ship-repairing management, analyzed the existing problems of ship-repairing project scheduling management; after all the above work, the main advantages of the critical chain technique in solving the problems of ship-repairing project scheduling management were put forward.(3) Considering the current situation, a ship-repairing project scheduling management model based on the critical chain technique was built here; and the critical points in applying the critical chain technique were given out after the built model.(4) Apply the improved model into actual ship-repairing project and compare the results with the traditional project scheduling plan, receiving the comparative advantages of the critical chain technique.Through all the works above, this paper expands the theory of project scheduling management and offers some reference value to ship-repairing project as well as some similar projects in project scheduling management. Therefore, this paper is of both theoretical significance and practical value.
