Planning, scheduling and control are the core of the practice of projectmanagement. In modern shipbuilding mode, since the strong mutual dependencebetween the hull-section and the construction process takes a lot of space,machinery and other resources, high cost and inefficient project managementchallenges are widespread. Therefore, segment scheduling plan determines theproduction time and the efficiency of resource configuration. If just rely on themanual scheduling plan, it will seriously affect the whole boat manufacturing period,and in turn affecting the economic benefits of shipbuilding enterprise. The study ofthe process of block scheduling will help shorten the construction cycle of hullsection and is significant in improving manufacturing efficiency of shipbuildingenterprise.This paper discussed the hull block scheduling problem. First, during theconstruction of hull blocks resource types were analyzed to define the usage rulesand constraints of conventional linear resources and space resources, combinationthe conventional linear resources and space resources to create mixed resources.Then create mixed resource constrained project scheduling evaluation indicator,considering the actual situation in the hull construction process, proposing mixedresource optimization scheduling assumptions, establishing mixed resourceoptimization scheduling model and heuristic algorithm to solve the model. Finally,basing on mixed resource optimization scheduling method, designing a hybrid planoptimization scheduling tool, implementing scheduling result output and visualdisplay.Comparing the enterprise scheduling data and scheduling optimized resultsshows that mixed resource scheduling model can better react hull section projectscheduling process and the solving method can shorten the construction cycle ofhull section.
