Study On The System Simulation Of The Driving Mechanism Of Rural Tourism

Tourism has become a fashion way for people to get recreation for the satisfaction of the material life and the rapid pace of living. Rural tourism, a new form of industry that extends from modern tourism to traditional agriculture, is highly valued and has become a new growth point for tourism industry. Because of the high correlation and influence and the strong driving function for other industries, the development of rural tourism needs the coordination of various factors. From the perspective of systematic research and with the help of qualitative and quantitative analysis, this thesis establishes the development system of rural tourism, identify the driving relations between various elements within the system and formulate policies and management measures of joint development to guide the planning and development of rural tourism scientifically and thus achieve its sustainable and healthy development in the long-term dynamics process. And this paper includes the following works:At first, a literature review is conducted and several theories are summarized, such as sustainable development, systematic science, tourism area lifecycle and stakeholder theory. With the guidance of theories above, this thesis studies the driving mechanism of rural tourism research.After that, the current situation and problems of rural tourism development in Dalian are analyzed and the principles and procedures of system dynamics are introduced. Divide the system of rural tourism driving mechanism into three subsystems as industrial economy subsystem, social culture subsystem and resource environment subsystem, and construct the conceptual model of the system. Construct the SD model of rural tourism driving mechanism with the help of Vensim PLE software after qualitative and quantitative analysis.Finally, five driving models of rural tourism development are proposed. Conduct the comparative analysis on the outputs of the simulation and prediction of the five development model by changing manipulated variables. It is found that coordinated model of industrial economy, social culture and resource environment is the best model for rural tourism in Dalian and policy advice is suggested for the development of rural tourism in Dalian.
