Study On The Development Of Famers’ Professional Cooperatives In Gaocheng And Its Countermeasures

With the agricultural modernization and the degree of Marketization increasing,Farmers unable to resist risks brought by outer environment, and their competition in the market is gradually reduced. In agricultural production, only farmers’ individual operation has been unable to meet the requirements of developing market. In this trend,as the economic organization which meets the modern agricultural production’s requirements,the farmers’ professional cooperatives are developing rapidly for this need. It is the basic part to promote famers to be involved in the markets, the new entity to develop rural collective economy and the effective carrier to innovate rural society management. However, there are still some problems in the development of the farmers’ professional cooperatives. If they can’t be solved in time,it will prevent the farmers’ professional cooperatives from developing continuously and healthily. This paper makes a study on the mode of farmers’ professional cooperatives in Gaocheng.On the basis of transaction cost theory,rural collective action theory and the industrialization of agriculture theory,through literature review and field survey, it analyzes the current status of the farmers’ professional cooperatives in Gaocheng. This paper focuses on four aspects: Farmers’ specialized cooperatives cooperative current situation and problems in Gaocheng,the causes of the problem analysis and countermeasures to improve the farmers professional cooperatives in Gaocheng.Specifically, the following points are as follows: First, from the aspects of quantity, scale, industry distribution and the mode of operation, through the secondary data quantitative analysis, summed up the current development of farmers professional cooperatives in Gaocheng. Secondly, through listening to feedback from members of cooperatives, draws problems of farmer specialized cooperatives in Gaocheng, mainly as follows: small scale,weak driving force,narrow service category, agricultural products competition ability is not strong, its operation is not standard, resist risk ability is weak, market dominant position to be to strengthen, shortage of education training,etc. Finally,some countermeasures and suggestions are put forward to perfect the mode of Gaocheng farmers’ professional cooperatives through the experience from the farmers’ professional cooperatives mode of developed countries and areas as well as according to Gaocheng practical situation: increase the relevant departments of farmers’ professional cooperative efforts; strengthen cooperative development scale, enhance the ability to resist risks; further improve the internal management of the farmer specialized cooperatives; strengthening of farmer’s culture to cultivate. Through the above measures, effectively promote the development of farmers’ professional cooperatives in Gaocheng.
