In recent years, the Lanzhou city in the standardization of agricultural production and agricultural industrialization has made great development. Plateau summer vegetables, lily, implementation of brand strategy of agricultural products, sales to foreign markets. Obvious advantages in industry, market demand, the government want to solve the question is how to develop the rural productive forces and constantly promote the farmers’ income, to allow farmers to participate in the broad market competition. From the practice of domestic and foreign experience, the farmers cooperatives is the development of rural production, promoting rural social progress and the effective ways to continuous increase in rural incomes. Farmer cooperative economy organization is the joint of the vulnerable group, and at a disadvantage in terms of material, technology, resources, so the government’s support is very important.This paper discusses the relationship between farmers’ professional cooperatives and the government. Applying the research methods of empirical analysis, this paper analyzes the development of Lanzhou city farmers’ professional co-operatives, the government support policy. In this paper, in the process of supporting the farmers’ professional co-operatives, the government should not be too much intervention cooperatives internal affairs. Government should from the legal, fiscal and taxation, industrial policy, market circulation service such as the external environment aspect of the support the development of farmers’ professional co-operatives, supervision of farmers’ professional cooperative organization system construction, the construction of training system, make the Lanzhou farmers’ professional co-operatives to get a bigger development.
